President

Camille Simmons is a senior from Madison, Wisconsin majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Accounting. Aside from being the President of Cornell Votes, Camille is also an active member of A Seat At The Table. Academically, she is a Teaching Assistant for several classes and is preparing to take the Certified Public Accountant exams in the spring.

Vice President of External Operations

Zikora Akanegbu (za63@cornell.edu)

Zikora Akanegbu is a sophomore from Ellicott City, Maryland, majoring in Urban and Regional Studies at the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. In addition to being Cornell Votes’ Vice President of External Operations, Zikora is a part of the Cornell Tradition Fellowship, the Homelessness Action Project at Cornell, and Pi Lambda Sigma (a professional government society).

Coalition Department Chair

Noah Freedman (nrf34@cornell.edu)

Noah Freedman is a junior from Washington D.C., majoring in Government in the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to being Cornell Votes’ Coalition Chair, Noah sings in The Key Elements, a co-ed a cappella group on-campus, is a fellow of Pi Lambda Sigma (a pre-professional government fraternity), and is involved with the Cornell Discussion Club. Noah spends his free time checking out new running trails.

Vice President of Internal Operations

Serena Wang (sw755@cornell.edu)

Serena Wang is a senior from McLean, VA studying Policy Analysis and Management on a pre-law track. In addition to being VP of Internal Operations for Cornell Votes, she is an Undergraduate Democracy Fellow at the Brooks School of Public Policy, Andrew Goodman Foundation Ambassador, Large Group Coordinator for Asian American InterVarsity, and a part of Chesterton House. In her free time, Serena enjoys painting and keeping up with current events.

Vice President of Finance

Erin Lim (esl88@cornell.edu)

Erin Lim is a senior from Herndon, VA majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations. Besides being VP of Finance for Cornell Votes, she works part-time in the Office of Civil Rights for the Federal Aviation Administration. In her free time, Erin loves going on long walks and spending time with her two dogs.

Communications Department Chair

Lucia Caravella (lbc76@cornell.edu)

Lucia Caravella is a junior from Homer, NY studying Industrial and Labor Relations at the ILR School. Besides being Chair of the Communications Department for Cornell Votes, she is a student researcher, ILR Peer Mentor, grader for the Intergroup Dialogue Project, COLLIS Institute Catholic Fellow, singer in the Cornell Chorale, and student representative on the Student Library Advisory Committee. In her free time, Lucia loves to read, bake, listen to podcasts, and spend time with friends and family.

Amy Somchanhmavong (ayk3@cornell.edu)

Amy is the Associate Director of Global Community-Engaged Learning Programs at the Einhorn Center where she supports the Center's strategic efforts on global community engaged-learning, its global program's academic connections aligning with Engaged College strategy, and the Center's partnership with various campus units.

Community Engagement Department Chair

Hiba Loukssi (hl2473@cornell.edu)

Hiba Loukssi is a sophomore from Ohio majoring in Government. Outside of being Chair of the Community Engagement Department, she serves as VP of Programming for the Student Programming Council, Treasurer of the Student Union Board, and Co-Advocacy Committee Chair for First Generation Student Union. She is also a P-3 Scholar for the Office of Academic Diversity and Inclusion, and this past summer she worked for a local public defender as well as her city’s municipal court.
